Luxury apartments in Milna on the island of Brac.

Milna

"Milna is the kind of lovely intact fishing village that in any other part of the world would have long ago been commandeered by package tourists. Paths and walks take you around the harbour, which is studded with coves and rocky beaches that are usually deserted."
Lonely Planet, 2011.

Located on the western tip of the island of Brac, the small town of Milna is one of the few deep-water harbours on the island.  As a result the waterfront is lined with yachts and fishing boats and there is a busy fish market every morning.

There are plenty of restaurants and bars, small grocery stores, a dive centre and two marinas.  The architecture is distinguished by the widespread use of its’ native ‘Brac stone’, a milky marble stone so beautiful it was chosen to construct Diocletian’s Palace in Split, Berlin’s Reichstag and the White House in Washington.

Milna is easily reached by ferry from Split.  There is a car ferry which runs to nearby Supetar 14 times/day and a fast cat (foot passenger) that runs direct to Milna twice a day on Mon, Tues, Wed, Fri and Sun.
